| RIPRO Corporation, Japan was established on December 23, 1971. Currently, we produce and market plastic products, process-recycling plastic, and develop customized recycling machines. We are the leading manufacturer of plastic surveying marker, boundary marker, and other marker in Japan. Our factory is authorized JIS, ISO9001, and ISO14001. In addition, we do business nationwide as a qualified manufacturer for the Green Purchasing Program. | Thirty years ago, 1972, incinerating problems of waste plastic film came up, Mr.Okada, who was working for a packing material company, established RIPRO Corporation, Japan to reuse waste plastic. Presently, marking Piles are our core products. We have thoroughly studied the combination ratio of waste plastics, temperature control and quality assurance testing to make plastic stakes. Then, for the first time in the field of plastic recycling, we obtained the authorization of Japan Industrial Standards. After that, we obtained the authorization of ISO9001 in 1999, The Eco Mark in 2001, and ISO14001 in January 2002. Externally, we offered pictures to a high school textbook approved by the Ministry of Education in 1993, "Chemistry World [IA]" (1994 Edition, issued by Tokyo Syoseki), as good samples for effective use of resources. In 2001, we participated in "Environmental City for the Future Expo 2001" (September 5 to September 8, 2001at Makuhari Messe, in Chiba) as a partnership corporation, which is carrying out environmental activities, with Okayama City. Currently, we participate in Eco-Action 21 program of Eco-Partnership project in Okayama City. Mr.Okada, the company president took charge as a member of the Small Business Modernization Council in The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) from 1985 to 1990. He has been contributing to build the recycling-based society as the vice chairman of Nihon Plastic Recycling Association(NPY). It was started under positive support of METI, Plastic Waste Management Institute in June 1976(renamed to NPY in July 1983) and promotes various projects, such as R & D for recycling process technology, joint research, and exhibition for the products. 2005, New building and factory open. |
